They soon developed a deep friendship and shared goals, ideas, stories with one another. One evening Tim Chatlos shared his dream of writing a series of Children's Books aimed at Military children. He already had three ideas and a fourth one brewing. Michael said he would love illustrate the books. They formed a partnership and began with Because Daddy is Coming Home Today. This book represents their first project and helps to express the deep feelings of young children at the news of the homecoming of a military parent.
